Is Random Better than Organized in Some Networks? Empty Is Random Better than Organized in Some Networks?

When professor Immorlica when over the spread of a language through a network, one of the example that was shown as a wire model network with one block section having the superior language and q was set between 1/2 and 1/4. This meant the language would only spread if a node had more than one node (out of four) that spoke the superior language. Since the spoken superior language was in a block and it was in wire form, no node from the inferior language would ever get more than one superior node next to it.

What I wonder is if the superior nodes were randomized rather than in a tight closure would it be more likely for the language to spread? If it is randomized, than you would get a few nodes with inferior language to have more than one superior node language which will cause them to switch. Then when they switch, it will cause more nodes with inferior language to switch and with the help of the other random superior nodes, a chain reaction will cause the whole network to switch. So maybe having a very loose group might be better in causing a change in a network.
