Companies Use Twitter to Bolster Their Brands
In an article by Business Week, the author describes seeing William Shatner at a jet blue terminal. Seeing Shatner there he instantly tweets the sighting. Within 10 seconds he receives a notice saying that he's being followed on Twitter by the Jet Blue Corporation. More and more companies now are using Twitter to monitor what customers are saying about their products or services. The companies claim they are using this as a free tool to better implement their customer service.
