Earlier this year, in a brilliant bit of marketing, Burger King released a Facebook App, Whopper Sacrifice. If you "defriended" 10 of your Facebook friends, you'd get a coupon for a free Whopper sandwich at BK. As one can imagine, Facebook was none too thrilled with BK encouraging the deterioration of its social networks and put a stop to the application.
