Lemons to be honored by Chrysler
I posted an article a couple of weeks ago about how people who purchased lemons from Chrysler might not get their money back because of the company's bankrupty. It had left many people in limbo--without a car, without money, and without any inkling if they were going to be reimbursed.
Well, there is some hope for a few.
The company made an agreement with Fiat S.p.A to honor all lemons under lemon laws.
Lemon laws do differ however, so it will affect different people differently. Also, this will only apply to those cars bought up to five years before the company closed.

Re: Lemons to be honored by Chrysler
Thats good for consumers who bought chrysler, but I wonder how much Fiat hates this because of the money that they are going to have to spend honoring these agreements. Fiat also has to worry about their own lemons that they will most likely begin selling in the US. I just hope they bring the Alfa Romeo brand to the US, because those cars are absolutely awesome.
