Twitter Advertising

US News proposes an add related business model for Twitter, which currently operates without adds on Twitter clients. It seems to be a great place for advertisers as users check their Tweets often and the data can be directly tracked. Also adds can be placed directly in line with Tweets for increase visibility unlike a banner add. Seems like a good (if annoying idea).
