This article talks about how the fact that people aren't rational affect game theories. In all studies at schools, professors have found that even though students know the strategies behind the game and the Nash equilibrium, there is always the "what if" and someone will always take the chance. The basic conclusion seems to be this: People playing games are either not that smart of if they are smart, they believe that no one else is that smart.
