This article is extremely interesting as it applied what we have been discussing in class to the climate crisis. The article mentioned that “preserving the global climate is the biggest public goods game ever.” The responses applicable in this case are classified as selfish, fair and altruistic. And if everyone responded “fairly” the climate would be save and this fulfils the Nash Equilibrium. However, the article also goes on to show us why people do no stick to Nash Equilibrium due to free riders.
