Blogs and Information Cascades Empty Blogs and Information Cascades

This article takes a similar example to the Urn game we played in class and applies it to itself. This blog, which is part of an interesting website that analyzes human rationality, basically gives an example of information cascades with peoples posts being equivalent to the balls in the urn and people getting an individual signal of whether or not a post is good. Through this they apply the web sties blog voting system to determine how often good posts will be ranked well but also how often a bad post will be mistaken as a good post due to information cascades forming in their community.
